Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of MailMate, a desktop software product for organizing client emails, files, quotes, and follow-up notes.
Early access product
MailMate is currently offered as an early access product. Some features may change as the product develops. We aim to keep core customer workspace functionality stable, but early access software may contain bugs or limitations.
License
When you purchase MailMate, you receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the desktop app for your own business or personal client work. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or provide the software as a hosted service without written permission.
User responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining access to your own email accounts, protecting your device, complying with your email provider’s terms, and ensuring that any customer data you process through MailMate is handled lawfully.
Third-party services
MailMate may connect to email providers, AI providers, payment processors, or other services selected by the user. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. MailMate is not responsible for third-party service availability or policy changes.
No guarantee of uninterrupted service
We work to keep MailMate reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Email providers may change access rules, authentication methods, rate limits, or folder behavior.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailMate is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or indirect damages arising from use of the software.
